On the political scene, I noticed that Barack Obama is starting to pull ahead of Hillary Clinton. Since I haven’t decided who I’m going to vote for, I still find the current horse race pretty entertaining.
Over the weekend, I heard a joke in which Oprah promises everyone in her studio audience a parting gift. In the joke Oprah announces, “Hey Everybody! Since you’ve been such a great audience, everyone in the audience is getting a gift today – a NEW PRESIDENT!” Maybe it’s not that funny, but with the problems that the Clintons are having with the return of Gennifer Flowers and John McCain’s problems in trying to prove that he is a conservative while disavowing his “relationship” with a lobbyist, it just might be Oprah and Obama who have the last laugh.
Once again, it ain’t over ’til its over!
