The Unknown hypertext novel was quirky in a lot of ways. It gave the authors an outlet for almost everything they wanted to write. They included letters that they wrote to each other, pictures, stories, even audio. I found myself going to the bottom of the page to click on a number of icons that led all over the place. At first, it was hard to keep my place, but as I got used to the site, reading the story became much easier. Did anyone have any problem with the Audio? I tried to use the Audio function to see where it went. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to come on. Then I thought, well maybe it wasn’t supposed to come on. The guys who wrote this were going in all kinds of directions, I don’t think it would have been a stretch for them to use fake audio buttons. On the other hand, maybe my audio programs aren’t working.
